She is a graduated of Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas, 1999. She began her career as an intern in 1997 in the Litigation Department at Mendoza Palacios Acedo Borjas Páez Pumar & Cía. Completed her studies, she was hired by the aforementioned Law Firm, where she gained valuable experience in the areas of civil, commercial and labor law in all judicial instances.
In 2008 and upon completion of her LL.M in International Trade and Commercial Law at Durham University, United Kingdom, she joined the Litigation Department at Clyde & Co, Caracas, where she was the Coordinator of the Litigation Department, focusing her area of expertise in commercial, insurance, maritime law, private international law and labor law in judicial instances.
Prior to join Mezgravis & Asociados, Militza was hired by Banesco Banco Universal, one of the top financial institution of the country, where she gained a valuable experience in the domestic banking sector.
In February 2010, she joined Mezgravis & Asociados, as a Senior Associates of the Firm.
